About Spectral Designs

Built for Riders. Engineered to Last.

Spectral Designs started with a simple frustration: the aftermarket parts available for e-bikes were either generic, poorly fitted, or built to a price point that didn't match the machines they were going on. We decided to fix that.

Our Mission

We design and manufacture precision components for e-bikes — parts that fit correctly, perform under real-world conditions, and are built from materials that don't compromise. Every part we make starts with a rider problem and ends with a solution we'd put on our own bikes.

How We Make Our Parts

3D Printing

Our 3D-printed components are produced in-house using industrial-grade PETG and other engineering-grade filaments selected for their impact resistance, UV stability, and dimensional accuracy. We don't use consumer-grade PLA. Every print is inspected for layer adhesion, wall integrity, and dimensional tolerance before it ships.

CNC-Machined Aluminum

Where strength and precision demand metal, we specify 6061-T6 aluminum — the same alloy used in aerospace and high-performance cycling components. We work with precision machining partners held to our own tolerances and finish standards. Every metal component is spec'd, tested, and approved by us before it enters the catalog.

Materials & Quality Standards

We're deliberate about what goes into every part:

  • PETG — High-impact, temperature-stable, and UV-resistant for printed components exposed to the elements.
  • 6061-T6 Aluminum — Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and strong enough for structural applications.
  • Hardware — Stainless steel fasteners throughout, because zinc-plated hardware has no place on a quality build.

Every design goes through fit testing on actual bikes before it reaches our catalog. If it doesn't fit right, it doesn't ship.

Who We Build For

Our customers are riders who take their bikes seriously — commuters who depend on their e-bike daily, trail riders who push their machines hard, and builders who want their setup to look and function as good as it performs. We support a wide range of platforms including Ride1Up, Talaria, Sur-Ron, Super73, Macfox, and more.

If you're the kind of rider who reads the spec sheet before you buy, you'll feel at home here.

Questions or Custom Work?

We're a small, focused operation — which means you're talking to the people who actually design and spec the parts. If you have a fitment question, a compatibility concern, or an idea for something that doesn't exist yet, reach out. We read every message.
